Mark McGowan is officially Western Australia’s 30th Premier after being sworn in at a ceremony at Government House.
Mr McGowan and his 16 ministers were sworn in by State Governor Kerry Sanderson, six days after a landslide victory in the State election.
The ceremony marks the end of Colin Barnett’s time in office after nearly eight-and-a-half-years.
Mr McGowan’s ministers were allocated their portfolios on Thursday.
