Coldplay’s Chris Martin under attack for George Michael tribute at the BRIT Awards

The BRIT Awards are over for another year but it seems the buzz is all around Chris Martin’s tribute performance to the late George Michael or rather, his lackluster performance. 


The Coldplay front man took to the stage to honour George Michael by performing his 1989 hit, A Different Corner, bringing the London O2 Arena to it’s feet, but it seemed viewers at home weren’t as impressed with the tribute.

  1. It was pure ‘Pub Singing’ at its absolute best. An absolute annihilation of one of George Michael’s classics. I was cringing in disbelief at Chris Martin’s pathetic effort. I’m glad GM had a good sense of humour.
